Francesca Antonini Arte Contemporanea is glad to present "Interno domestico", a group show including works by Francesco Bocchini, Gregorio Botta, Simone Cametti, Guglielmo Castelli, Alessandra Giovannoni, Silvia Iorio, Robert Pan, Gioacchino Pontrelli, Enrico Tealdi and Antonello Viola.

The gallery inaugurates the upcoming season presenting a selection of works in a single-room staging. The central room of the gallery thus becomes an intimate and cosy environment, hosting a limited number of small or tiny format works. A domestic space, that highlights the private dimension of both making and contemplating a work.

From Bocchini’s small machineries to Cametti’s objects, from Botta’s glasses to Iorio’s constellations, from Tealdi’s tiny framed landscapes to Giovannoni’s watercolour views, from Castelli’s light coloured portraits to Pontrelli’s acid palette, Viola’s monochromes and Pan’s resins, the works on show tell of a personal and private relation between authors and their works, imposed by the will to focus on a small format.

Halfway between a wunderkammern and a collector’s house, this show alternates affinities and correspondences, as well as contrasts and counterpoints among a number of individual practices, offering viewers a new interpretation of works and different artistic researches.
